The Toombs County Bulldog Baseball team travelled over to Richmond Hill on Monday, but had a tough time generating runs dropping the game 7-0.
The Bulldogs had multiple chances in throughout the game to generate some runs offensively, but could not get the big hit to score some runs. On a positive note, Freshmen Ryder Sears went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the Dawgs in hits. Sears ended the game with 2 singles and one double. Other players with hits were Dawson Brantley and Brantley Upshaw who both were 1 for 3.
Gavin Hall started the game on the mound took the loss for Toombs. Hall allowed three hits and one run over three innings, striking out three and walking one.
The Bulldogs didn’t commit a single error in the field.
