Lyons, GA. – April 13, 2023 | Coach Derek James

The Bulldogs made the long trip to Nahunta on Wednesday for game three of a critical region series against the Brantley County Herons. Unfortunately, the Dawgs could not get the bats going and would fall to the Herons 5-0 to lose the series.

Jesus Quintero took the loss for the Bulldogs. The righty went three innings, allowing two runs on four hits and striking out three. Tucker Braddy also threw three innings. He walked 4 and struck out 1

Cameron Ledford, Trayvonne Harris, Will Watts, and Dawson Brantley each collected a hit for Toombs County. The Bulldogs played well in the field not committing a single error with Tyson Brantley having six chances, the most on the team.

The Dawgs will be back in action in next Monday for game one of their last region series versus Pierce County. The Bullodgs will play at 5:45 PM at home.
