In Tuesday’s region face-off, the Lady Dawgs encountered a challenging Vidalia team, ultimately concluding the series with a 10-0 defeat. Vidalia’s offense was quick to action, registering 3 runs in the top of the first inning and never looked back. Although the Lady Dawgs put up decent defense, Vidalia managed to add more runs in both the third and fifth innings.

From an offensive standpoint, Emerson Powell went 1-for-2 at the plate with a single and walk. The only other two Bulldogs to records hits in the game were Nora Grace Mercer and Mishi Smith.

Although the game’s outcome wasn’t in their favor, the Lady Dawgs remain undeterred. With high spirits and unwavering determination, they gear up for their next matchup, and are ready to get back to their winning ways this afternoon when they travel to Tattnall County for a region matchup at 6 PM.
