Lyons, GA. – October 5, 2022 | Coach Hayne Brant
Both teams were strong on the rubber on Tuesday, but Vidalia was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a victory over Toombs County on Tuesday night. Shay Stringer started the game for The Dogs and recorded 18 outs. The lefty went six innings, allowing two runs on five hits, striking out ten and walking one.
A single by Nora Grace Mercer in the first inning was a positive for Toombs
Mercer and Riley Lumley each collected one hit to lead The Lady Dogs. Toombs was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error.
