Lady NetDawgs Dominate at Windsor Forest

The Lady Net Dawgs traveled to Savannah on Monday and celebrated a great night. The JV team emerged victorious against Windsor Forest with set scores of 25-20 and 25-14. Gracie Peterson and Emma Wright steered the team’s success from the service line. Peterson contributed 9 service points, 7 aces, an assist, and 3 digs. Wright impressively delivered 11 service points, 7 aces, 2 assists, and a kill. Alivia Patrick topped the team in kills, tallying 3, while Elida Cruz added 5 service points and 4 aces. The JV team’s record now stands at 2-2 overall, with a commendable 2-0 record in region play.

On the varsity front, the Lady NetDawgs completed the sweep with commanding scores of 25-9, 25-17, and 25-20. MaKayla Brewton’s exceptional serving skills were a highlight, as she achieved 16 consecutive service points—10 of which were aces—propelling the team to the decisive 25-9 win in the first set. Brewton wrapped up the night with an impressive tally of 20 service points, 14 aces, and 2 kills. Arianna Hill, Anabel Cruz, Scarlett Stanley, and Anna Patrick bolstered the team’s performance with 8, 7, 6, and 5 service points, respectively. Both Cruz and Martasia Burton contributed 5 assists each, and both Patrick and Hill registered 4 kills.

Overall, it was an outstanding performance by the ladies. Their current record is 5-4, with a 2-1 standing in the region.
