It was a night of highs and lows at Southeast Bulloch on Tuesday night for the Toombs County Lady NetDawg Volleyball team.
They kicked off the evening against Liberty High School and secured a victory in three sets (25-17, 20-25, and 15-10). Makayla Brewton, Arianna Hill, and Anna Patrick led the NetDawgs in the Liberty match. Brewton scored 13 service points and 7 aces, Hill contributed 9 service points with 2 aces, and Patrick dominated with 8 kills.
However, the momentum didn’t carry through to the Southeast Bulloch match, which Southeast Bulloch won in two sets. The NetDawgs started with their worst set of the season, losing 25-6, but showed improvement in the second set despite losing 20-25. The statistics were not particularly noteworthy in this match, with Patrick recording 3 service points and 4 kills and Anabel Cruz contributing 4 service points, 2 aces, and 2 assists.
Looking ahead, the next match will be at home against Tattnall County, with the JV game starting at 5, followed by the varsity match shortly after.
