Stellar Performances Lead Lady NetDawgs to Victory Over Tattnall County

The Lady NetDawgs showcased their skills in a regional match at home against Tattnall. The Junior Varsity (JV) team started off slowly but eventually found their rhythm, winning in three sets (19-25, 25-14, and 15-9). The JV team was spearheaded by the efforts of Alivia Patrick, Elida Cruz, and Emma Wright. Emma delivered an impressive performance with 13 service points, 11 aces, and 3 assists. Alivia Patrick also had a notable game with 6 service points, all being aces, and 6 kills. Elida Cruz contributed with 6 service points, 3 aces, and 2 assists. Melinda Fagan and Gracie Peterson both added 2 aces each.

The Varsity team had a remarkable night, winning in three straight sets (25-16, 25-1, and 25-9). The star of the night was Martasia Burton, who amassed 27 service points, 8 aces with only 1 service error, and an additional 18 assists. A particularly memorable moment was at the beginning of the second set when she served 18 consecutive points. Other standout performances included Anna Patrick with 11 kills and Arianna Hill with 9 kills.

The Lady NetDawgs will be back in action at home again tonight (Tuesday, 9/19) against New Hampstead. The JV match will start at 4:00 PM, followed by the New Hampstead Varsity at 5:00 PM, and then the Jenkins Varsity.
