The Bulldogs were back at home in region play against Tattnall County, looking to build on the momentum from Friday night at Appling. The first quarter started out well with the Bulldogs scoring the first five points before Tattnall was able to score off a steal. Scoring went back and forth with both teams getting a feel for the game, but Tattnall was able to close on a 7-0 run to close out the first quarter with the lead at 14-8.
In the second quarter, Tattnall began to stretch their lead with some timely shooting and by staying on the offensive glass. The Bulldogs were having difficulties keeping them off the offensive glass, and at the end of the second quarter, the lead had increased to 15 points, 35-20.
In the third quarter, the Bulldogs showed some fight and came out playing hard, trying to cut into the lead. The scoring was back and forth, but Tattnall was able to keep the Bulldogs at bay and take a 49-35 lead into the fourth quarter.
In the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs continued to battle and began to create some turnovers, scoring off of those miscues. Toombs was able to cut the lead to 10 with three minutes to go, and even got it as close as 7, but Tattnall was able to hold on and secure the victory, 66-55.
The Bulldogs were led by Dominic Eason with 13 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 blocks. Mike Polke also had 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists.
