The Toombs County Bulldogs faced a tough challenge on Friday, falling to the Ware County Gators by a score of 12-2.

The Bulldogs struck first in the top of the first inning when Kipp Mosley singled to drive in a run, giving Toombs an early lead.

Despite the strong start, the Bulldogs couldn’t maintain momentum. Offensively, Brody Benton, Cameron Ledford, and Mosley each contributed a hit, with Benton and Mosley both driving in runs for Toombs County.

On the mound, Joseph Owens started for the Bulldogs, pitching one inning with two strikeouts.

The Bulldogs will aim to bounce back as they return home to face Dublin on Monday. Come out and support the Dawgs!
