Toombs County Bulldogs Esports Secures 500th Win in Strong Start to Regular Season

Toombs County Bulldogs Esports is off to an impressive start in the regular season, clinching their 500th win as a program alongside a string of victories. Led by senior Christian Castro, both the varsity Splatoon 3 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate teams are undefeated and highly ranked in the state.

In the opening week, the varsity Splatoon 3 team triumphed over Seminole County with a commanding 3-0 victory. They continued their winning streak in week two, securing another dominant 3-0 win against North Forsyth.

Likewise, the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate team showcased their skill with consecutive wins. They began with a convincing 3-0 victory over Heritage High School of Ringgold in week one, followed by a solid 3-1 triumph against Dawson County High School in week two, marking the program’s 500th win.

Despite facing tough competition, the Bulldog Mario Kart 8 Deluxe team displayed resilience, securing a 2-0 win over Putnam County in week one. Although they narrowly lost 2-1 against North Paulding in week two, the team remains determined and focused on future success.
