Hazlehurst, GA – August 15, 2026 | Head Coach Jeremy Moore

The Toombs County cross country teams opened their 2026 season Saturday at the Peach State Preview in Hazlehurst.

Competing in warm conditions, both teams ran well while identifying areas for improvement as the season gets underway.

“We have started the last several season off at this meet, as it is always a good benchmark for where we are at. While we know we have lots of room for improvement, our runners know where we are at and what it will take to compete with the top teams in our region this year. We are looking forward to the challenges and getting where we need to be this season!”
