On Wednesday, April 19, the Lady Soccer Dogs made history, with a 2-0 win over Jeff Davis, which advances them to the Elite 8 in the GHSA state AA tournament.

This marks the first time the girls program has ever made it to the Elite 8. The match was tied 0-0 at halftime, but goals by Emerson Powell and Anyadi Colmenares in the 2nd half, along with a great effort by the defense to pitch their 2nd straight shutout, led to a convincing win over a good Jeff Davis team.

The Lady Soccer Dogs will travel to Mt. Paran Christian on Monday. Kickoff is set for 5:00 PM.
