On Tuesday, March 14, 2023, the Toombs County High School track and field team was finally able to open its season at Appling County High School. 

Overall, the teams performed well with wins and top three performances in several events including the girls shot put and discuss, boys shot put and discuss, boys 100m dash, and 300 hurdles. The relay teams on both the boys and girls teams looked pretty good for their first time out competing against other schools. 

Toombs County track and field will be back in action next week at Jeff Davis High School.
