Varsity Volleyball Continues Dominance with Sixth Consecutive Win

It was another victorious evening for the Varsity Lady NetDawgs, extending their impressive win streak to six matches. The team showcased their prowess by besting Beach H.S. with scores of 25-14 and 25-18. They maintained their momentum by overpowering host Long County 25-11 and 25-14 during the latter’s Senior Night celebrations.

In the match against Beach H.S., the team’s impeccable serving and authoritative presence at the net were the highlights. Emma Wright delivered with 10 service points complemented by 4 aces, while Anabel Cruz chipped in with 7 service points and 3 aces. Makayla Brewton also contributed with 6 service points and an ace. The net play saw Arianna Hill leading with 6 kills, Brewton adding 5, and Anna Patrick contributing 4. The assisting duo of Martasia Burton and Anabel Cruz provided 8 and 7 assists respectively.

The momentum didn’t wane against Long County. Scarlett Stanley led the service assault with 11 points and 5 aces, while Cruz followed closely with 9 service points and 5 aces. Brewton also made her mark with 6 service points and 3 aces. The net was dominated by Patrick, who notched up 8 kills.

The Lady NetDawgs now stand proud with an 11-5 overall record and a commendable 4-2 in regional matchups. Fans should brace themselves for an exhilarating home game on Monday, as the team faces off against Savannah Arts, the top-seeded team in the region. The JV match kicks off at 5:00 PM with the Varsity game to follow.
